Q: How do I get help?
A: The first step in receiving help is to go into a local service organization with your DD214 and any personel and medical records you have from your time in service.

Q: What do I need to file a claim with the VA?
A: To be able to file a calim with the VA you need a certified copy of your DD214. Basicaly that is all, however I would not reccommend to anyone that they attempt to file a claim on their own behalf due to the specific requirements of the VA. It is best to go into a service organization, wich all are free, and have a certified service officer begin and maintain your claim.
